I thought a good way to start was to give a bit of background on my wow experiences. I started playing wow when it first came out, originally with an orc hunter (Falkor - the luck dragon from The Neverending Story). I rolled several horde toons and at the same time levelled a human priest with a group of friends. We would play as a group each monday night an experience the game together. Our tank for that group was a paladin. Unfortunately this was back in the day when Paladin's really couldnt tank.
After we levelled our first group to 60, we started again, this time playing Night Elves. I chose to be a tank this time and again, only playing on monday nights we levelled these characters all the way up to level 70. Both of these groups were on a US server (we started the group before they had Oceanic servers).
After the two alliance groups were max level, we decided for a break and started horde characters on an oceanic server (Khaz'goroth, then transferred to Saurfang), we power levelled these characters just before the Wrath of the Lich King expansion came out and eventually made it to level 80 and did some heroics etc.
By this time I had moved some of my US server characters to Saurfang and made some others including a mage, paladin and shaman.
We eventually got bored of doing heroics, mostly because our priest healer didnt want to put in any effort to getting gear and wanted to be carried through dungeons. When his guild from Khaz'goroth wanted an extra healer he heeded their call (even though he actually knows us in real life) and moved his character back there and we havent played with him since.
Anyhow, no great loss, we started up new alliance characters, I again decided to be a priest (discipline) and we have a pally tank, hunter and fire mage. We have also been joined by a warrior who the tank loves to harass about his DPS (or lack of).
We're currently in the outlands but im hoping we get into northrend soon as outlands quite frankly is too easy. I healed the group a couple of weeks ago with 1500ms lag while talking on the phone to my girlfriend. Most pulls my bubble was holding or just collapsing at the end of the fight.
Unfortunately our tank is away for a couple of weeks on holiday so we had to do without him this week and next. Im looking forward to his return as I just sent myself the BOA spellpower mace, BOA cloth shoulders and trinket which all scale nicely with level! I cant wait to see them in action.
